At 417 Rheumatology, we believe compassion is the cornerstone of patient care. We are an independent, non-hospital based, Rheumatology clinic and infusion center in Southwest Missouri. In order to provide the highest level of care, we focus on decreasing access barriers and streamlining your individualized treatment plan. Our dedicated staff believe to effectively manage your rheumatic conditions, we must provide the best treatment options available. This means we stay informed about cutting edge technologies and medical advancements in Rheumatology. In fact, Dr. David True, DO has over 17 years experience helping patients better manage their rheumatic conditions, as well as over 3 years experience as a Rheumatology researcher. We believe no one treatment is right for every patient and your condition deserves to be approached uniquely. 417 Rheumatology wants to help craft a treatment plan that is successful in meeting your needs.

Our Staff

Medical Director

David True DO FACR

Dr. True was born in Fayetteville, AR but was mainly raised in El Paso, TX. He received his undergraduate degree the University of Texas at El Paso. (The only university in the state of Texas to win an NCAA men’s basketball national championship!). He graduated from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine located at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

His internal medicine residency and rheumatology fellowship training were both received at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center on Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX. He served a total of 9 years in the USAF before moving on to civilian practice opportunities. He ultimately located here in Springfield in 2010, where he attempts to keep up with the force of nature that is his wife and tries in vain to get his daughter to remember that he was, at one time, her favorite. He has also been employed at Clinvest Research since 2016, where he serves as the Medical Director.

Ryan Cady

Ryan Cady, MS was raised in Springfield, MO and received his undergrad from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (On Wisconsin!). He completed his master’s at Missouri State University in Cell and Molecular Biology in 2008. Ryan has a strong passion for research and is also the owner of Clinvest Research which conducts clinical trials in Springfield, MO.

Micah Miller

Micah Miller is a board-certified physician assistant (PA) passionate about helping her patients live happy, healthier lives. As a rheumatology PA, she is responsible for the care and well-being of patients with rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, lupus, and other rheumatological diagnoses. She is an alumna of the Missouri State Physician Assistant Studies program and certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, yoga, and walking her toy poodle, Mila.
